X176 CRUMPET

1976 by Lallow

CRUMPET X176

Crumpet was built by Ian Lallow for his own use. She was launched in 1976 and was first raced in the Cowes Division, achieving excellent results.  She was then sold to Brian Southcott and raced very successfully at Hamble.  In 1981 she moved to Lymington where she has remained and has continued to race competitively.

Crumpet has been continuously maintained and upgraded by Symon Wood & Son over the past years. She has been completely re-splined, epoxied, longboarded and is fully fitted out to a high standard.  Weight and boat checks are up to date.

Crumpet comes with a new set of 2024 Hyde sails (main, jib and spinnaker), solar panel bilge pump and a road trailer.

X164 DIANA

1971 by Lallow

DIANA X164

Diana is a well known X that has really flown and is possibly the prettiest X boat in the fleet. Boasting a brand new mast, definitive round boom and a full set of Sanders sails, she has been meticulously cared for both by the current owner and the Williams family, who owned her for several decades. She is a rare X Boat in that her deep varnish finish looks incredible.

Over the years, she has won many series at the Lymington Division including the coveted Cock Boat, Hotham and Jade cups. Often found in the top 10 at Cowes Week, she has had multiple race wins there, as well as winning Poole Week. Down just below the minimum weight she is ready to compete at the highest level.
Having recently been re-epoxied and sprayed to an amazing finish, she is afloat and ready to win.
