In order to participate in XOD Class racing:

1. A boat must have a valid measurement certificate which needs to be re-validated on change of ownership.
2. The owner(s) must be a member of the Class Association. This requires an application for membership to the Class Secretary and a modest annual subscription to the Association. A Class Handbook is produced annually.
3. The owner(s) must be member(s) of one of the list of approved clubs that organises racing.
4. Insurance including 3rd Party liability with a minimum of £2m cover
